Hello

Hej,

my name is Laura Gálvez, I am volunteering now in Fjord og Bælt (Kerteminde, Denmark) as part of an EVS project and I created this blog as a personal project to share photos of my time here.
I started at the end of January 2019 and will be here up to January next year so I will take a lot of photos :)
I will start with some of the photos I took in my first days here:










All this photos where taken at the fjord next to the place where I work. It is plenty of nature, there are a lot of birds around and the sunsets are beautiful from there!

Copenhagen botanical garden

On my days off sometimes I dedicate them to travel around Denmark. One of the first cities I visited was Copenhagen. I love the Botanical Garden from Copenhagen, it is located near the center area of the city so it is quite easy to get there and you can spend a very nice time walking around. There area lot of plants but also birds so you can take very nice photos of nature. I have been there in the winter and Autumn season so there where not that many flowers but still it was worth it to go

My work place

 This are some of the animals I work with at Fjord og B ælt. They are four harbor seals (Naja, Tulle, Svender and Fiona), one harbor porpoise (Freja) and a seagull called "Andy" that sometimes comes to ask for food. My work is to prepare their fish, keep the kitchen and their enclosure clean and feed them different times during the day.
